Why are these skills important?

 

 

Almost all jobs today require computer/keyboarding skills including call handling, shops, garages, catering, health & social care, administration, childcare etc.  Developing these skills will improve your chances of getting the job you want and help you in your job search including finding jobs on-line, applying for jobs on-line and receiving details of vacancies.

 

Courses

         Come and join a 10 hour programme run over 2 days 5 hours per day where you can start to develop these skills.

 

         Locally accessible venues 10 hours in total over 2 days:

 

 

         St James House, 8th Floor, Pendleton – Mondays, 13 & 20 July 9.30 – 12.30, 1 – 3 pm

         Creche places may be available if required

 

Qualification

 

You will have the option of gaining an EDCC Cert - the e-Digital Competence Certificate scheme, assesses in electronic office skills, communications and media.  The courses develop the skills required for the award of certificates. These certificates are widely recognised by educational institutions and employers.
